This trip visited west slope sites in Utah, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming to search for a variety of nesting birds and migrants. The itinerary included spectacular Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks as well as Bear Island Migratory Bird Refuge, Camas NWR, Red Rock Lakes NWR, the National Elk Refuge, Dinosaur National Monument, and the Wasatch-Cache National Forest, and others.
