Red-throated Loon
Don Faulkner photographed this Red-throated Loon on 29 Jan 2010 at Fort Macon, North Carolina, during the Carolina Bird Club Winter Meeting. The bird was found on the beach, entangled in fishing line. Rescuers removed the fishing line and returned the bird to the water.
