Trumpeter Swan

This Trumpeter Swan is one of a flock of at least 4 present in late February 2004 near Lake Pungo, NC. This photo was taken at a banding station on February 25, 2004 by Joy Greenwood. In both pictures, the Trumpeter Swan is the bird on the left. The other (much smaller) swan is the much more common Tundra Swan.
