Black-headed Gull

Tom Sanders photographed this Black-headed Gull on 8 Dec 2011 at the McAlpine Wastewater Treatment Plant in Pineville, North Carolina. The bird was found by Tom Sanders and Ron Clark, and digiscoped with an iPod Touch. This is possibly the furthest inland record of the species in the state.
