Black-billed Cuckoo

Scott Winton photographed these Black-billed Cuckoos on 28 June 2012 at Catfish Lake, Craven County, North Carolina. The images of the juvenile are video stills. You can tell the bird is an immature from the short tail and this confirms the breeding status of the species for Craven County and the NC coastal plain.
