The only accepted state record of Green-tailed Towhee was a bird found near Southport (Brunswick) on 5 Jan 2002 and seen by many birders until about 24 Apr* [Chat 69:38-40 link], [Chat 67:3-4 link]. An unaccepted sighting from Bodie Island (Dare) on 28 Nov 1975 was reported in American Birds (30:53), without any supporting information or documentation [Chat 54:58 link]. | ||||||
