Swallow-tailed Kite

Sparkle Clark photographed this Swallow-tailed Kite on 9 August 2012 preening at a snag in hay fields of Millet, Allendale County, South Carolina. Only about 20 Swallow-tailed Kites were working the fields compared to over 200 a few weeks before.
